Based on what the positions are of the different parties in the different countries, combined with what their legal rights
are to discuss staff transfer on behalf of the employees, the Service Engagement Staff work stream team needs to decide how
to proceed.
What is also important is whether we would like to take over staff in some countries. The situation is not always ‘black or
white’ from a legal perspective. Based on all the information gathered, the Service Engagement Staff work stream team needs
to develop a strategy per country, per party, on how to proceed. If possible they also choose the parties with whom they
will negotiate and in what sequence, if applicable.
